Division I - Kathleen Sharkey, Princeton

Sharkey broke open the quarterfinal game for the Tigers, notching three consecutive goals for Princeton after the hosts had fallen behind 3-2 at the half. Her four on the day was a big reason why the Tigers defeated Syracuse and advanced to the semifinals.

Rookie of the Week: Kelsey Kolojejchick, UNC

Kolojejchick had a solid weekend for the Tar Heels, who returned to the semifinals with a pair of top-12 wins. She scored a goal in each match and added an assist in the opening-round victory over Ohio State.

Strong backstopped the Bears back to the semifinals with a 13-save performance against Trinity after stopping six shots in the win over Lynchburg as Ursinus defeated two top-10 teams en route to a trip to Mount Holyoke.

Rookie of the Week: Megan Bosland, Montclair State

Bosland did not allow a goal in three ECAC games as the Red Hawks won the ECAC tournament, outscoring the opposition 13-0 on the week.

Division I - Casey Howard, Delaware

Howard led the Blue Hens to the CAA title, helping hold JMU and Drexel to one goal in the two games. At the other end of the field, Howard had a pair of assists, including on the game-tying goal in the semifinal and the championship-winner in the title game.

Rookie of the Week: Charlotte van den Broek, Virginia

Van den Broek picked a great time to start scoring goals, notching the game-winner as the Cavaliers upset UNC in the ACC semifinals. She then notched the opening goal in the title game before UVa fell to Maryland 3-2 in overtime. The Dutch rookie helped the 'Hoos allow only three goals in the three games against three top-12 teams.

Division III - Lorri Hiltz, Husson

Hiltz' midfield play carried the Eagles into the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history as Husson defeated two higher seeds on the road en route to the berth. She clinched a spot in the finals as she converted a stroke to defeat top-seeded St. Joseph's of Maine before assisting on the game-winner in the victory over Maine-Farmington.

Rookie of the Week: Kimberly Barker, MIT

Barker continues her hot streak in her rookie season with an outstanding performance in the NEWMAC tournament in which she scored three goals and added an assist as the Engineers won the title and the accompanying trip to the NCAA tournament.

Division I - Melinda Curran, Central Michigan

Curran did not allow a goal in 150 minutes  of action, helping the Chippewas to a 3-0 week. She made seven saves to backstop Central to a 1-0 upset of Michigan before scattering five more saves over the next two games.

Rookie of the Week: Sarah Drake, Iowa

Drake helped the Hawkeyes win the final two games of the regular season, scoring the game-winner in the upset of James Madison before putting Iowa on the board first as the Hawks went on to win 2-1 over host American.

Murphy helped the Falcons repeat at NE-10 champions with solid midfield play against a pair of top-10 opponents in the tournament.

Zubkus assisted on the game-winner in the Warriors' first-round win and was an integral part of the program's first-ever trip to the NE-10 semifinals

Division III - Christine McCabe, Cortland

McCabe was a part of both game-winners in double overtime this week, scoring the goal in the win over St. Lawrence while assisting on the GWG against TCNJ. She added a defensive save in the victory over the Lions that gave the Red Dragons their second perfect regular season in school history.

Rookie of the Week: Mary Hobbs, Haverford

With the Fords facing a  win-or-done situation in their final game against McDaniel, Hobbs scored a goal off a penalty corner in the 69th minute to give Haverford a 3-2 lead they would not relinquish. She had notched an assist on the second Ford goal earlier in the game, and she added a goal and an assist earlier in the week in another conference win over Swarthmore.

Division I - Alicia Grater, Maryland

Grater picked a great time to have a career-high in saves as she posted 12 in a 4-1 victory as the top-ranked Terps defeated the second-ranked Tar Heels on the road.

Rookie of the Week: Jenna Phillips, Drexel

The rookie netminder came up big for the Dragons, helping Drexel to a 1-0 overtime victory against Lafayette before notching a 5-1 win over conference rival Northeastern. In the Lafayette game, Phillips made seven saves, including five in the extra session, to give Drexel the opportunity for the victory.

Division II - Sam Santoli, Catawba

Santoli was a part of all three goals for the Indians this week, including both game-winners in overtime. In the 2-1 upset of East Stroudsburg, the sophomore assisted on the game-tying goal before scoring off a rebound in the extra session. In the final game of the season, Santoli and her teammates defeated rival Limestone with a goal in overtime.

Rookie of the Week: Danielle Demola, Adelphi

Demola helped the Panthers to the NE-10 tournament as Adelphi posted a pair of conference wins, including a 2-1 upset of Mass-Lowell. Demola notched the game-winning assist in the win over the River Haweks and helped the defense allow just nine shots on goal in the two games combined.

Division III - Kourtney Ehly, Messiah

Ehly powered the Falcons to a pair of ranked wins, including a key 4-1 victory against Lebanon Valley in which she notched a pair of goals and added an assist. She also scored twice in the 6-2 win over perennial power TCNJ.

Rookie of the Week: Kimberly Barker, MIT

Barker sparked the Engineers yet again, notching the game-winner in a 1-0 overtime victory over Wheaton before netting a hat trick in the win over Mount Holyoke as MIT won a pair of conference games.

Division I - Danielle Forword, North Carolina

Forword scored pair of goals for the Tar Heels, who defeated two ranked teams on the road. She started the weekend with the overtime game-winner at Virginia and added an insurance goal in a victory over James Madison.

Rookie of the Week: Berta Queralt, Ohio State

Queralt helped the Buckeyes win a pair of games last week, starting with an overtime win against Louisville. In a key Big 10 game against Michigan, the rookie had a goal and an assist in the 3-1 triumph.

Dion helped the Falcons go 3-0, notching four goals over the three games, all against conference opponents. She recorded the game-winners in wins over Saint Michael's and Adelphi.

Division III - Gina Dinallo, Trinity

Dinallo started the week with a shutout  against UMass-Dartmouth before  notching 15 saves  as the Bantams upset Tufts 2-1 in overtime.  Five saves came in overtime as  Trinity took the lead in the NESCAC race and remained undefeated on the season.

Rookie of the Week: Kristen Dornenburg, Muhlenberg

Dornenburg backstopped the Mules to a pair of wins, including an upset of Johns Hopkins as Muhlenberg became the first team to hold the Blue Jays scoreless this season. She made 11 saves in the game against Johns Hopkins and eight more in the win over Swarthmore.

Division I - Debbie Bell, Kent State

Bell was a part of seven of Kent State's eight goals this week, notching all three goals in a 3-2
come-from-behind victory over Ball State before scoring twice and assisting on two other goals in a 5-2 win against Miami.

Rookie of the Week: Lizzie Priest, Northeastern

Priest shut out a pair of opponents this week, making four saves in the win over Delaware before blanking Towson.

Division III - Sophia Tieu, Johns Hopkins

Tieu led the Blue Jays to a win over TCNJ, stopping all eight shots she faced in the second half and the two overtime periods as Johns Hopkins defeated the Lions 2-1 in double ot. She then pitched a shutout against Washington College to close out the week.

Rookie of the Week: Tori Redding, Wesleyan

Redding started her week with a shutout of Eastern Connecticut before making  a career-high 18 saves through regulation and two overtime periods followed by 5 saves over two penalty stroke rounds in a 3-2 victory against two-time champion Bowdoin.

Division I - Amanda McCardell, Delaware

McCardell keeps the honor with the Blue Hens this week after sparking Delaware to a pair of conference wins, including an upset of Old Dominion in which she set up a pair of goals, scored, and helped shut out the Lady Monarchs. She added a goal in the win over William & Mary to keep Delaware's conference slate perfect.

Rookie of the Week: Tori Lindsey, James Madison

Lindsey helped the Dukes to three wins on the week, including a key conference victory over Drexel. The rookie had six goals on the week, scoring in every game.

Rookie of the Week: Jamie Twist, Mansfield

Twist picked up three wins with some impressive performances in the cage as the Mountaineers defeated two top-10 teams. Twist made 11 saves in the defeat of No. 4 Kutztown before picking up three in a win over Houghton in a mid-week game. She closed the week with a 15-save performance against No. 8 Millersville as Mansfield won their third-consecutive game.

Greer powered the Panthers to a 3-0 week that included a 3-1 win over Skidmore and a pair of NESCAC wins. She notched five goals and added an assist in the three games, including two goals and an assist in the Skidmore victory.

Howard led the Blue Hens to a pair of conference wins over the weekend, starting with a come-from-behind victory over VCU in which she notched the opening goal for Delaware. In the upset of James Madison, the captain scored the game-winner to lead he Blue Hens to the CAA victory.

Daughtry made it three weeks in a row for the Warriors after posting five goals and four assists for Merrimack in three games.

Division III - Laura Ressler, Eastern

Ressler helped the Eagles to a 2-0 week, starting with a 10-save performance against William Paterson as Eastern came from behind to secure the victory. In the key Freedom Conference win over Wilkes, the junior keeper made six saves to keep the Eagles perfect in conference play.

Rookie of the Week: Emily Widdison, Nichols

Widdison keeps the honor within the Bison family after helping Nichols remain undefeated with a pair of wins last week. She figured in all three goals in a 3-0 defeat of previously unbeaten MIT and then followed it up with an assist against WNEC while helping the rest of the defense not allow a shot in the second half.

Sherer started the week with a pair of assists in the win over Drexel before notching a hat trick in the 4-0 win over Providence as the Huskies defeated a pair of ranked teams to remain undefeated on the season.

Rookie of the Week: Tara Puffenberger, Virginia

Puffenberger was crucial in the Cavaliers' two wins this week, notching the game-winner against William & Mary on the road before assisting on the first goal and scoring the next two in a 3-0 win over Michigan State.

The junior started the week with a paor of goals against Mansfield before being a part of all five goals (2g, 3a) in the win over Mercyhurst. On Sunday, she had the game-winner in the IUP game, scoring with just 16 seconds to go in regulation.

Rookie of the Week: Jen Otis, Merrimack

Otis repeats as Rookie of the Week after helping the Warriors post a 2-1 week. She had two goals and two assists in the three games as Merrimack notched wins over league rivals Assumption and Adelphi.

Bradley was a part of half of the Bantams' goals this week as Trinity went 3-0. After notching a goal and an assist against Westfield State, she had a hat trick against Wellesley before adding the insurance goal in the upset of Middlebury on the road.

Rookie of the Week: Krista-Jean Forand, Nichols

Forand backstopped the Bison to three wins on the week, including an upset of Endicott to close out the week. She made 16 saves while allowing only one goal, helping Nichols post two shutouts in the three games.

Division I - Jaimee Erickson, Stanford

Erickson notched a pair of goals on the week, including the game-winner in overtime on the road against Iowa, helping the Cardinal continue their unbeaten streak to start the season. She also scored in the win over Northwestern as Stanford has started the season 6-0.

Rookie of the Week: Amy Kee, Syracuse

Kee helped the Orange to a pair of top-10 victories on the week--both coming in overtime. Part of the defensive unit that held the opposition to one goal each, Kee had a defensive save against Michigan State that presevered the tie; she later notched the game-winning goal.

She was part of a defensive unit that allowed only two goals in three games while limiting the opposition to just over five shots per game. At the other end of the field, Kott assisted on a pair of goals as the Skyhawks went 3-0.

Rookie of the Week: Jen Otis, Merrimack

Otis helped the Warriors to an unbeaten week with three victories, scoring a goal in each contest, including the game-winner against Southern Connecticut and Franklin Pierce while assisting on the game-winner vs. St. Anselm.

Division III - Vikki Stoessel, Keene State

Stoessel did not allow a goal on the week, including making eight saves in the 3-0 upset of Springfield. In three games, the senior goalie made 15 saves.

Rookie of the Week: Kimberly Barker, MIT

Barker helped the Engineers win four games on the week, pacing MIT to a seven-game win streak to open the season. She had a goal in the win over Lasell, followed by a pair of markers and an assist in the win over Simmons. In the semifinal against Manhattanville, Barker scored the second goal of the game. She had two goals in the first half of the title game against host Vassar to clinch the title.

Division I - Katie Reinprecht, Princeton

The USA team member was instrumental in helping the Tigers come from behind twice to notch victories over ranked teams this weekend. Reinprecht helped Princeton rally from two down in the second half to defeat Ohio State in overtime before keying the break that led to the overtime winner in the upset of Syracuse.

Rookie of the Week: Lindsey Valadez, UC Davis

Valadez helped anchor a defensive unit that kept the Aggies undfeated in their recent varsity history -- after the program was reinstated this season, UC Davis swept their first three games, including two victories in overtime. Valadez also assisted on the game-winner over Missouri State.

Rookie of the Week: Jenna Gregory, Kutztown

Gregory helped the Golden Bears to a title at the Joshua W. Wesner Memorial Tournament as KU went 3-0 on the weekend. The rookie was named to the All-Tournament team after helping Kutztown outscore their opponents 17-2, allowing only eight shots over three games.

Division III - Jenna Max, Messiah

Max was a key part of the Falcons' squad that started off the 2009 season with a pair of wins, including a 4-3 win over 2008 semifinalist Ursinus. The senior had an assist in the opening game victory over Juniata before helping the Falcons to the come-from-behind victory over the Bears.

Rookie of the Week: Kristen Dornenburg, Muhlenberg

Dornenburg helped the Mules to a title at their own tournament, posting wins over Elizabethtown and Susquehanna thanks to clutch saves from the rookie keeper. Dornenburg and her teammates shut out Etown before posting an overtime victory over Susquehanna; the rookie made a key save in overtime off a corner to preserve the tie.

Division I - Lauren Miller, Duke

The senior back helped the Blue Devils to a pair of victories that helped Duke claim the Champions' Challenge title. She scored twice in a 3-0 win over Louisville while helping shut out the Cardinals. Against Michigan State, Miller notched the stroke in overtime that clinched the victory.

Rookie of the Week: Kelsey Kolojejchick, UNC

The USA veteran opened up her collegiate career in style, netting the game-winner against Michigan before scoring a goal and adding an assist in the win over Iowa.

Macy notched three goals on the week, including both in a 2-0 win over IUP, as the River Hawks opened the season 2-0.

Rookie of the Week: Kristy Tutorow, Mansfield

The Mountaineer rookie opened up the season with the game-winner in her first-ever collegiate competition as Mansfield defeated St. Michaels. She followed that up with a pair of goals and an assist in a win over Southern Connecticut.
